as soon as I finish the mews and the perches, i'm ready for inspection! YAY! I have a few more things to get, but they aren't on the inspection. I just need:
a sheet of coroplast a hood leather long blade turf food
that's everything I need for inspection or otherwise, yay!
Speaking of astroturf, does anyone know where I can find it cheap? I can't find it out of a falconry context. So far the cheapest place I've found is Falconry Products USA, a 2'x3' piece for 25 dollars. So if anyone knows any place cheaper, then please say something, I really don't want to have to pay 100 dollars for 18 square feet!

Wal-mart look for the Daisy mat with the white and yellow flower they are universal and have the rounded tips. Yarak
If a man does not keep pace with his companions, perhaps it is because he hears a different drummer. Let him step to the music he hears, however measured or far away
As Yarak said, the Daisy mat is good stuff. It covers all my perches including my scale perch. Theres only one big flower in the corner of the mat and you can just rip that off. I believe one mat is $5 (In Ohio).

I hope I did not mess up, but I bought indoor/outdoor carpet that looks like AstroTurf. It is short grass. Yarak will this be okay, or do I need to redo all my perches. I have three 4' perches in mews.

stadium is fine i have had plety of people in our club say its fine but one thing to wrap rounds perchs with like a window perch i used a vine and then put pipe insalation over it then i wraped vet wrap over it
well now there a bird in the mew im happy now the bunny slaying beggins
I could see vet wrap on a bow/ring perch but on a window perch IDK. Do you know how much you are going to have to replace that stuff? Try every 2-3 weeks if your lucky. There really isn't a lot that is much better than a 2x4 and long leaf astro/daisy mats. Maybe..natural Cork which looks like thick tree bark, works great but you have to find it first .

If you did find natural cork I dout it'd be very cheap either. That stuff pretty rare now days. I do like the sound of vet wrap on a bow perch. I'll have to ask my sponcer about that one.
