I need some advice, I got home yesterday. It was about 45 degrees and winds about 25 mph and gust at about 45 mph. I looked in the window of the mews and could not see Abby, I looked all over and could not see her. I unlocked the outer door and ran to the window between mews and outer room and still could not see her, I started freaking out. Ran to mews door unlocked and opened it and i heard her bells. I looked down and she was hiding on the ground by the steps, I guess to get out of the wind. I have a window on the roof, one on the west side and one on the north side. I had to put them on those sides do to privacy from alley behind house. Do I need to close up these windows during cold winds, or maybe build a partition for her to get behind. What do you think?

i have a perch up high and away from any window. Rip does well there. maybe as a thought putting up a giant hood in a corner with no door? i know my bird will fly a good distance to get to his hood as he thinks he will get food every time he goes there. lol imagine that, i hood trained my bird but couldnt lure train him.
anyhow id try a perch first then the gh without door.
