JUST IN!! I wrote a very persuasive letter to my mom (she wears the pants in my family) and I think she is going to let me become a falconer! She told me I could get some books and I think she said I could get training, not a bird yet ( the trapping season isn't until Sept 16 ) ! Yeah I hope she says I can take the test and stuff!

Im in wisconsin dells and im having a hard time finding anyone around here who even knows a little about falconry here can someone get me a link to possibly a sponsor or somone to help me study for the test?
I just want to say hello to the fellow Wisconsin Falconers. I live in the Fox Valley area and I am currently looking for any person/persons who would be willing to have a tag alone to teach. I have not taken the test yet, but am am very eager to learn. Don't do a whole lot of the forum stuff, so i apologize in advance if i don't know what i'm doing. It will be a pleasure to speak with you all.
I love how this thread has become a recruitment thread for aspiring WI falconers, there's only about 92 of us currently, and I'm going to to be starting my first season in less than a month hopefully. We're moving into our first house on Monday and then i can throw my facilities up and get them inspected. I live up in the Menomonie, WI area, and so I'd be happy to go hawking with anyone in the vicinity up here, willing to drive as far as Black River Falls for some hawking
