Try as I may, I cannot get the avatar to download on my profile. I've used my PBase http, zip. Then I signed up with the suggested ImageShack - still zip.

How come this is the only place that I and others seem to be having problems with our avatars???

Frustrating...not to mention time wasting...

How do I do it? I thought that I had followed the instructions, but evidently I'm missing something somewhere...

It's another one of the "wonderful" proboards issues. I would try sizing it small enough to fit, then uploading to a third party site like imageshack or photobucket. Then you need to copy/paste in the html, and i think the drop box needs to say "custom" or something like that. i haven't done it in literally years though, so memory might be off.
