Uploading Avatar

I give up. I have tried six ways from Sunday to load a custom avatar using every possible combination of possibilities on my profile here and yet at completion...no avatar. I have checked sizes and tried various combos of link codes, going through image shack or direct upload from "my pictures" and yet...no avatar uploads no matter what I try.

What is the secret?

It should work if you make the image the proper size before uploading it. Then copy past the URL into your profile were necessary. If all else fails send me a PM
