Temperature can vary from 90s in the summer to negatives in the winter up here in western new York, how do i design my mew with this in mind? Also what would be the minimum temp that a rt would be able to stay outdoors?
Edit: Do you go with your dominant hand for your glove/gauntlet.

if you are right handed the bird will be on your left.
for the winter I put a space heater mounted to the ceiling and plexiglass windows on the outside of the bars on the windows to keep the heat in. the space heater is set for 34 degree's so the water doesn't freeze. just makes things easier for weight management and water intake for the bird.
for the summer the heater is turned off and the windows removed for ventilation. this keeps the mew cool enough for the bird.
most falconers don't go to this extent and never did myself till I got the HHs but have found it to be very helpful for weight management for any of the birds as well as the bath pan doesn't freeze
