I was thinking about buying a prefab shed to use as a falconry mews, as my parents would prefer just modifying one of those instead of building something from scratch. The one I was thinking of using was the Arrow Red Barn 10 Ft. x 14 Ft. You can find it on the home depot web site. Its $617, cheapest for its size, and I’m wondering if you think I could modify it easily enough to make it work for a falconry mews

I don't know matt I don't think anyone has addressed that type of shed yet. Especaill since it's built with steel not plastic or wood. I would love to know too, would this work?
Matt, I have read that post. My shed is different, and made with different materials. I just wanted to know if it would work.
Also, I have a few more questions, in case I decided to simply build one from scratch. 1. Can metal be used for walls in a falconry mews? 2. Can you leave exposed 2x4's in the hawks chamber, or must you cover them with plywood panels? 3. How far exactly must the bars on windows be spaced? 4. Wheres a good cheap lace to get stadium astroturf for a mews? Besides sports stadiums that it. 5. Is there a minimum size for a weathering area in washington state? I need to know.

First thing you need to do is get a sponsor. Then he will be able to tell/help you on what is best for you at this time. Suggestions over the internet are just that and your sponsor may have a total diffrent opinion. The Sponsors opinion is the one that matters
I used to think i knew some things. But i'm not so sure anymore.
Second, I do have a sponsor now Tiercel, and we've both been trying to come up with an idea for a cheap mews that I could hopefully disasemble and take with me when I move out of my parents house in a few years. I just want to know a few things before I discuse this particular idea with him, just so I have a better idea of if it would work what it would take.
