My sponsor just told me of two who live within 5 miles of where i will live if i go...i am currently in seattle but moving to san diego " maybe next week" depending on a job offer this weekend... just wanted to maybe chat with somebody who might no how the rabbit population is down there? beacuse its pretty scarse up here in seattle. thanks, Modoc
I live in San Diego, there are a good amount of rabbits if you live in places with open fields, further inland. Specifically, I live in Chula Vista and there is a healthy supply here.
thanks for the reply,,,,glad to hear it... i will be living in the vista area...so hopefully i will be able to scout out some good huntin fields nearby.. thanks
Im only a pre-apprentice but until summer I live in Oceanside, which is 5mins off of Vista. I've got quite a few hawkin' spots scouted out in the area.

Man.. I wish I had picked up on this thread a long time ago. I live in Riverside, an hour from Bonsall and 1 1/2 hours from SAN Diego. While being a bit far for a sponsor, I would be willing to have you guys drive up and watch her crush a cottontail from a soar.
Now the Bunnies seem to all be pregnant so I've pretty much shut the season down early. I think they are early this year with the pups because of the wonderful springtime weather we're having. Spring is early this year.
