I went to fly Val yesterday in the morning and her door had been been mostly de-tached from her mew. So she was gone already when I got there at 7:00 am on January 22. She was lost down the Cosnino road 10 miles east of Flagstaff. She still had her anklets and her bell (She probably got the jess out by now) Last known weight was 980 g I was free-flying her before this so she is pretty-well trained (had for 3 months) and tame (mild-mannered) If seen please contact Nicole (724)234-5852 cell (928)526-3367 work She is lure-trained, but probably hunting on her own now, so may have to use BC to get her back.

We had really gusty winds on Monday, up to 30 mph. So the wind was getting behind the door and pushing on it. Eventually this worked out the screws on the padlock thingy by pushing it forward and slamming it back. Once that happened the door opened so violently that the top hings was still attached to a piece of the door, but had cracked. This is what I concluded after taking a good look, and having difficulties on that day with the door, and the wind. Val was of course having a hard time too.
