***Edited***To all Texas falconers....Hello to all the bird was lost in the San Antonio TX area in the last 30 days, she was last seen heading south, they tracked her for 4 hrs then darkness fell. The next day they criss-crossed the last known signal area then got a weak signal to the south and lost it. Have not had contact since. 1)Female lannerfalcon approx 8 yrs old named KIro 2)was wearing jesses with falconers phone # and the words "REWARD" and telemetry, I dont have the frequency at this time, but will post it soon. 3Metal federal band (dont have the number sorry) 4)She has no distinct marks but may have some wing feathers molted by now. These are small birds around 23 oz. so she may well appear to some as a large merlin. I have a vested interest in her recovery if possible. Please contact me by e-mail if you know or have any info at: pipersdream2@sbcglobal.net Curt

Whos bird is it? The only reason I was asking is that I'm from San Antonio and was just wondring. I'd look for something Prairie falcons size they have a fairly large wing cord. The Lanners that I have Flown are anywhere from 430-650grams
I used to think i knew some things. But i'm not so sure anymore.
