I have no problem with Yaraks ideas on falconry and the way he teaches it. Yarak may be though but he isn't a total ass. It was hard for me to get into falconry aswell. My first teacher in falconry drilled me hard for many years. Matter of fact I belive that he drilled Yarak aswell time-time. His way of training worked for him and taught me a lot of great values. Not only in falconry but in life aswell. I'll use many of the same stuff when I decide to sponser. I don't mind being hard, just not making people fell like total idiots. Some people have a hard time and some will never get it. I have no problem telling anyone that but, in a way that dosen't make them feel totally worthless. I try not to hand over any info that I think could be found in any book.

I used to think i knew some things. But i'm not so sure anymore.
Weasel is Yarak's Apprentice. Did you not just clap for him?
I agree with Yarak, I prefer his style of letting the ignorent have a piece of his mind. Not once have I even remotly considered warning or banning him. He gets the point across without seeming like he wants to see you fail. Its postitive reinforcement lol...
He's a Master Falconer.... and it shows.
Actually, That's a most obvious form of negative reinforcement, Not positive......
Eagles may soar, but weasels don't get sucked into jet engines "Give a man a fish, and you'll feed him for a day; give him a religion................ and he'll starve to death while praying for a fish."
does anyone know how to tie a Turk's top knot? i've been making some hoods and i think it would be cool to have one of those on top. any suggestions would be great, thanks
Ok. I have read until my eyes are bleeding. I have the cannon indian hood software downloaded (got off this list). My problem is what is the correct measurements to put in the box when it asks you the distance behind the eyes (in m.m.) I do not have a RT yet and I wanted to make a few trapping hoods. I want a female but I want to have some male size hoods on hand also. I dont have the money to go spends $$$$ on hoods but I can try to make them for trapping anyway. I just need a few numbers, I know every bird is differnt so please no lectures on that subject. If I missed a thread I apoligize but I can read no more!
