No it is not too bad I just let the glue dry over night. I wish I had a pattern I could send you. Go buy Gary's book it is a wonderful book with great info on RTs as well as patterns. Yarak
If a man does not keep pace with his companions, perhaps it is because he hears a different drummer. Let him step to the music he hears, however measured or far away
does ur RT wear chaps every time u squirrel hunt? or is it an occasional thing. and do they go on the tarsus OVER the anklets? or do u have take the anklets off every time u put on chaps? i was just wondering as to if i should use them with my first RT this year. thanks
Alot of people keep chaps on their bird through the entire season. Gary Brewer's chaps are lined with very soft, cushy leather, and cause no discomfort to the bird. They are also easy to remove if necessary. And no, you don't put them on over anklets. They are your anklets.
And yeah, if you are even considering hawking squirrels go ahead and get a pair.
k thanks dodes, will do. are they difficult to make? i can make everything else almost (workin on some hoods), so its not like i'm clueless. do u have a pattern? that would be great, thanks
I am trying to use brewer's chap design (the one without stitches) but I am a little confused about the liner pattern. What am I supposed to cut off and leave on and what is the best way to attach the skirt insert?
yea, stitching is always stronger! maybe harder! but stronger! if you glue it and stitch it.. itd be really strong. and be pretty tite looking if you make it right!
