I got permission from the local community college to come and hunt squirrels on the property on the weekends when there are no classes going on. They are thick and they are eastern grays which are considered a non-native invasive species here, so no season or bag limit ;D The college is empty on the weekends except for campus security which have been directed to not interfer with my hunting. Can't wait, fat tree rats used to close contact with people. Hoping for my first double. They have been looking for a way to get rid of the squirrels as they have started trying to take residence in the buildings and have started becoming aggressive towards people because they have no fear. Well me and Sasha are gonna put the fear of God into them.

robruger1, that sounds awesome. Would love to watch!!! Im in the process of getting permission to fly on a golf course about 3 miles from my house. They have a serious squirrel issue there as well. Hopefully i will be able to remedy some of that problem. Best of Luck and if you get in good with the campus security maybe they will let you ride in there golf carts and let the bird fly from there hahahahahhahaha
That would be cool to fly from a golf cart but unfortunately they drive around in little hybrid coupes. The windows are little small for my big girl. The campus has alot of modular buildings so it will be stalking between buildings and then casting from the fist at squirrels on the ground. Don't really want to go for ones in the trees in most of the places on campus just cause they are close to some buildings and I'm afraid one might bale out of the tree onto the roof. It would be a real pain in the arse if she killed one on the roof. But they are all over the grounds foraging and if we see some close to the trees I'll stay around the corner of a building and have my buddy lure them closer with food and I'll step around the corner and cast her at them.
