Went out hunting yesterday, we had a snow storm come in the day before and drop about 8 inch's, our first one this year. Well anyway I put the bird up in a small tree and starting beating the brush well the first fence row I started working produced a bunny which she nailed as it tried crossing a field. So I took her and put her back up and stared working around a barn it wasn't 2 minutes and another bunny flushed and made a break for a hole in the barn it didn't make it. I caught both bunnys under 15 minutes so I was thrilled. ;D It was the first time I ever took a double on rabbits Ive had plenty on squirrels but never rabbits (until now).
We got dropped on 18" by that storm. I went out hunting on monday not expecting anything to even move. The dog actualy got a bunnie moving. Wish I had a picture of it. Just the dogs head with the rabbit ears sticking out of the snow. The bird finaly got the idea of what it was and nailed the bunnie.
Yea, 80 degrees here.......I prefer it that way....Hawking in shorts and a t shirt...LOL!!!
