Preparing for Montana’s falconry test

Hi there!
I recently have started my studying for the test after I went to visit a local falconer. I have two books so far and the California hawking club study guide. Can anyone give me advice on what are the best ways to go forward in studying? Also, the falconer I visited doesn’t own a bird right now but she hopefully will soon. But it’s because she has young kids and doesn’t have the time yet so I’m not sure if I should ask her to be my sponsor?? I am 14 and my parents don’t know anything about falconry. Can I get some help?

Have you joined your state club? Then you might be able to meet some other falconers through that. After that just keep studying! I’m in kind of the same stage as you so I don’t know much, but I would start with joining the state club and maybe NAFA.
