Hello! I live in North Idaho, and have been searching for falconers in the area for a while now. I have taken my test and have a structure in place for mews, I just have not completed them because I don't want to do it without the instruction of a sponsor. If you could point me in the right direction I would really appreciate it! Thanks for your time.

Yeah, the president was going to put me in touch with someone but I haven't heard from them. Haven't heard back from Fish and Game yet either. I'm going to follow up with both of them soon, but I wanted to see if you guys knew of anyone in the area.
I'm in Sandpoint, so Cda/Spokane would be perfect. I heard back from the state club and they said that I was out of luck, that there weren't any falconers in my area. But there must be some, because I have been following this story www.cdapress.com/news/local_news/article_fb15722d-9e28-5fc6-a897-bf03d93b4782.html in the news for a few months now. There are also comments from other local falconers. It made national news, really tragic story.

There are folks up that way, but they may not be members of the state club. Try the Washington Club, they should be able to hook you up with folks near Spokane. They have a facebook page as well that you'd probably get a faster response on. There are actually 2, an 'official one' and an 'unofficial one'

Having gone through the paperwork of an "out of state" sponsor exception, I don't know if fish and game would allow a Washington sponsor for an Idaho apprentice--though maybe. Welcome and good luck, I'm just over in Montana but don't know anyone offhand, darn it. Sorry!
