Do any of the wonderful keepers of the birds of prey here on this site have a problem with coming out and killing some pigeons in a urban area?
Here's the problem: My girlfriend's neighbor feeds the local pigeons and now has a flock of roughly 150 birds that hang around her house/neighborhood constantly. I'm not sure how anyone here feels, but to the rest of the neighborhood, they are nothing more than flying rats. We would all like to see them gone, but every time we contact the local, county and state government about it, there is nothing they can or will do. I can't sit there and shoot them with a firearm, since it's in the middle of Newport, in a neighborhood, and they only land in the one yard where they are being fed. They are quickly becoming a menace and a problem. So...again, I ask, are there any falconers on here who would be willing to bring their bird(s) to Newport, DE for a little bit of rat hunting?

Thanks!
It would be far more effective and efficient to live-trap the pigeons. Where do they roost at night?
They are becoming trouble here as well. Doves are also becoming over populated too, as is crows. The dairy farms have pigeon flocks that stick close to the barnyard. I feed birds in my yard but avoid grains that attract the doves and pigeons. Sounds like you need a couple coopers hawks hanging around. I have a pair of sharpies that keep things in order around the house. ;D Mike
