My dads asking this one, he wants to know if its OK to use for the mews... like siding etc... is it? i have no freaking idea whats in the stuff, so i have no freaking idea if i can use it lol.

Pressure treated lumber is treated with creosote, the same substance they use on telephone poles. I only use it for the base that comes into contact with ground. It last longer and will not be harmed by insects. Yarak

thats what i thought my dad ment on using it. but apparnetly he wants to use it as siding etc... im not sure why...? but creostote, will that harm the birds? hmm what is that stuff.. *googles*

maybe the siding would be ok if you lined the inside with plywood or plastic. i only used it for the bast frame. i really like the idea of hardipannels for the walls on the outside. they are made of concrete at half an inch thick. paint it and it will take a tornado to take your mews down.
