Hey all. I have a question for you. I was under the impression that if you mew as sufficent, you didn't need a weathering yard. Is this so?
Also , what was the cost of your mew? I have passed my exam and have a sponsor, so this is my next step. Just wanting to get an idea of the damage. Thanks!

500, if you want to build it out of plywood about 800. i have no weathering area. i have to be with her at all times when i put her on a perch outside.

i spent about 900.. but that includes weathering area. my mews was passed as a weathering as well but really it is NO substatute. dont take any shortcuts, you will thank yourself later.
ok, this is what I was guessing, appx 500. Does anyone have theirs set up to be relocated easily? I am renting now, but hopefully buying a house in a year or so.
Mine's a prefab shed I converted. About $1200 for the shed and the material for the conversion. You can get by cheaper but I had to deal with the building nazis. Kurt
Ok. I guessed as much. My dad has personally built the last 2 houses we have lived in, so he is building my mew for me. I am not too concerned with how to do it, I was just wondering if it was a common thing.
