Around here in pa. we don't have many rabbits. I was wondering if i released some rabbits in fields near me if they would survive.
I know some (perhaps all) would get eaten by predators, but would they cope with living in the wild. I could get them for free (or close to it) from many of the Amish farms around here.
check ur state laws, but im quite sure its illegal in all of the US. i thnk? but check ur state laws. and if ur asking if they will survive in the wild, have u seen all the bunnies people by for spoiled brats at easter and then release them? they are all over! so yes they should lol. u just need enough!
What part of PA are you in? We're loaded with rabbit up here in the Northern Tier. And I believe Matt is correct in that it is illegal to release non-indiginouse species into the wild.
