I came upon this site when doing a random search for avian vets in/around my area. It was basically an insurance company for pets. I emailed asking if I could cover a falconry bird such as a hawk and they replied "yes". It would of saved me a ton of money when my bird injured her leg. I though I would pass it along for those who may be interested in looking into it. ................. . . www.petinsurance.com The way I understand it is that you pay the vet up front and he signs a form that you present him. You then mail the form and bill to the company and they reimburse you minus your deductible. When you are a member you are alloted some basic mute testing and such for free. For some, it may be worth the money. Anyway, I thought I would share the info.
