Anyone care to share how to make these? Pictures are the best way to explain. I get the button part, but do the slits for braiding go to the end of the jess? Or what? Help please ;D

hard work FB, I think you need to braid 6 strands, then split them into threes?
But my sponser says not to use braided, as they harbour bacteria

I see how they'd harbor bacteria; it'd be hard to get it out from in between the braids.
But I'm not quite connecting on how you meant braid SIX and split it into threes? Unless you braid it and split it into 3 jesses with two strands braiding them
Braid the six strands (it is possible, ask any girl!) then split it when you want the slit, and braid into two sets of threes, then pull it all back together at the end, and braid all six again for about another inch before knotting the thing.
Is that any clearer?

Thats not the kind i am talking about. That is how i do my leashes. I am talking about a 3 stranded, with a normal button and a normal slit. The middle of the jess is braided.
