My favorite bag is an Avery waterfowlers bag. They can be bought for about $25 at Wal-mart or most sporting goods stores. They have a washable liner, will hold 4 rabbits plus everything else.Kurt
i bought a vest and used it once, alot more hassle getting a rabbit into lol,say youve fed the bird up, put the rabbit in the vest, now how do u put the vest on with the bird on your hand, and a full crop.
sean, I do the same as FalconBoy. I slide a plastic grocery bag up the bunny while the hawk is breaking in. Once I do the transfer, I have the hawk on my fist, I turn my back to the rabbit hiding it from the hawk. Reach down with my free hand, scoop up bag and slip into game pouch in back of vest. I use a vest made by Walls. It has two large front pockets and a very large game pouch with hangs low in the back.
ahh i see, my vest has eleastic straps, so if theres more than one rabbit in it, its down your bloody ankles lol, thats another reason why i didnt like it, but it may just be my vest

i do the same thing, except with a black or dark blue towel instead of a bag

I wouldn't buy it......I have had vests like that and I disliked them. I turned to bags recently and I love them! Here is the one I bought recently and it is fantastic for hawking... www.cheaperthandirt.com/WX160-515-514.html
