Well I did have a really nice globe willow tree that shaded my mews at 1:00 pm on into evening. Four inches of WET snow two nights ago. Woke up next morning with tree split right down the middle!
#%&***@#*&^%heck.
I've thought of keeping a well screened fan blowing in a circle in my mews. We have BILLIONS of teeny mosquitos in warm weather and WNV has arrived in Southern Idaho. Fan is proported to confuse the little buggers as to where the bird's exalation breath containing CO2 is coming from. I could see a double roof arrangement like some rabbitries have. Encourage a cross breeze by locating barred windows across or at right angles. Avoid facing too much to the south. Plant drought resistant shady trees. Helps to shield mews from prying eyes also.
