Well my boys seem to have taken an interest in squirrels. They're far from large HH's. I'm pretty sure I need to resign myself that they'll keep this interest, but was wondering if anyone knew of a way to get there interest off of them.

I'm sorry, but you said "it's impossible" when you really meant "I don't know how yet".
Harris Hawks love squirrels. If they ever catch one, you'll never break them from going after them. Try to avoid them, or try to protect the feet and go after them. There is no better hawking than squirrel hawking.
I fly a cast of Harris Male & female the only way I can prevent my male from taking a squirrel is to keep his weight a little higher. He will chase but will not bind to the squirrel allowing the female to do the killing. At this weight he will take anything else that moves just not a squirrel.
I guess the only way to be sure is to stop flying in squirrel habitat.

I'm in Nc everything is squirrel habitat. I'm flying places where a few weeks ago I saw nothing when I had Aerial up, and now all of the sudden they keep finding stuff.
