Hi there... I'm about to imp my male kestrel's tail feather using hollowed out carbon fiber rod... Has anyone else on this site have success in using carbon fiber?
I've imped more then my share of tail feathers, but never on a micro, and have never used carbon fiber rod. That said, I am familiar with carbon fiber rod, and suspect that it would be excellent for the job, as long as it is the right diameter to insure a snug fit.
