I am in the process of getting my apprentice liscense in the state of WA, I travel to B.C frequently and have taken falconry courses and flown several different types of birds in Canada. Obviously their laws are different but I very much enjoyed the experience and learning. I would like to connect with some WA falconers and get involved in the community to gain more knowledge. In my opinion you can never have enough. So any suggestions would be appreciated.

There are quite a few folks over on the west side of the state. I just checked the website, www.wafalconers.org/ and it is up but they have been having issues.

I actually got in touch with the "web maven" for their website. She was extremely helpful and am actually meeting with her Thursday. I'm very excited to get started!

I know this is an old thread but does anyone know if carhawking is legal here? I've been through all the falconry regs for WA and I don't see a thing. (Maybe I'm looking in the wrong spot, I don't know.)
