I'm 27 and was wondering about this falconry thing for awhile.. I live in california and contacted the Department fish and wildlife... I don't know what to do next if anyone knows let me know thank you for your help

there are allot of things to do. get books, study for the test, meet falconers that may become your sponsor, allocate time for day to day training and hunting, and build equipment and housing. the main 2 are pass the test and meet falconers. you are also going to have the money to start with so start saving. falconry is not cheap you can save money in spots, but there is always something that needs to be bought, gas for the truck, or vet bills that need to be paid. it would be better to say specific questions because none of us really have the time to type out all the things that are going to go down on ya for the next few yrs. there are threads on her that may help ya though. you just need to look around the forum and read threw them.
