Ahhhh and there are no steroids in the chicken i work with the feed mill so i no what goes in the feed witch is manly chicken feathers and guts and leftovers from the procesing part lol.
The only chicken i ever feed to my bird, is one i get from a friend, and its free range. Free range are much more nutritious than store bought.
i personally dont trust store bought chickens, they just arn't nutritious enough, and just buy quail, in the long run it will save you money, and trouble.
I have fed chicken to my bird off and on for 3 years, depending on how much game I have in the fridge, lol. I buy chicken necks from a butcher by the 40lb. box. I use a meat tenderizing hammer to crush the bones a little. I also put vitahawk with it. However, no bird should be on a one item diet, I also buy beef hearts by the box. In my opinion there is nothing wrong with store bought chicken, but make sure to vary the diet.

I feed the leg and thighs on occasion they are cheaper than the breasts and IMO have more nutritional value.
Like Kenbro mentioned, you should never feed one thing for long periods. Wild caught game should be the staple of their diets.
