Here's an update and not one i want to give!!! So sunday i take her hunting squirrels and she chases on, then monday she gives chase to a rabbit, then tuesday i feed her on the lure cause I had something till 6 then wed. I take her out and she weighs 1125g which has been her flight weight and at the start of the flight i am going through a gate and she desides to fly up there to wait for me and she hops off my fist and lands on the gate handle rather then going on top. she then limply falls down flapping one wing. So i call her and she jumps straiht up but limply falls back down before getting halfway. so I then get lower and she jumps the same height landing on my fist. Then in shock we rush her to the vet and they feel around and give x-rays that say she has no brocken wing or dislocated wing. So i get the worming medecine while I'm there and pain medecine. I go home, feed her up and let her sit. the next day ( today) i come out side get her off the perch and weigh her and shes 30 grams over so i descide to do low key jumps to keep her semi fit. so i get the camera incase and she does the whole limp thing even after an almost full force bate.

Let her rest for a few days. No jump ups, no flights. Let her have her food through the chute or on the lure close to her, don't make her fly to it. The pain meds, if they aren't anti inflamitories, may have an effect on her. The worming medicine can make her feel a little bad for a short time. You might even consider free lofting her, if she's at that stage, to keep her from bating off of the perch and fighting the leash. Better to lose 10 days now than an entire season. Good luck and a speedy recovery.
