We've got our Ohio state association picnic next week and I have the task of creating a one page discussion sheet for our discussion on whether or not we should pursue an eyass take here in our state. So, I need all of your help. What I need to know is which states allow an eyass take (specifically interested in those states close to Ohio) and what are any of the additional rules that each state might have regarding species allowed for eyass take and reciprocal agreements, etc. Thanks in advance for all your help!! -Joby
Take allowed on the first, second, third, and fourth Saturdays in March and from May 20 to June 11.
Permittees may not take more than two eyasses during this period and when eyasses are captured at least one eyass shall be left in the nest.
