I think soar hawking a female rt is the most fun. I have tried it with my bird but she usually finds a hag rt to attack. I have seen another bird that's pretty good out of a soar. its a very dramatic flight style and awesome to watch. Game Hawking in the 21st Century has some great flights in it. Scott Timmons did the video and his rt kills a lot of jacks out of a soar.

soar hawking is the most fun you can have with your clothes on. I tryed it naked once but all the brush beaters took off. so it didnt work without the clothes.
as for getting them on them the draggy works well. and show them the game over and over again. if you really have to you can bag them on the jacks and that will turn them on. although you have to have your bird hunting first. most 1st yr APs never really get their birds going as well as the bird will do. not saying anything wrong just that the experience isn't there. its a first bird and a first time trainer. that doesnt mean that they cant do it just that they the APs are still learning.

Only someone living in AZ would try hawking with their clothes off Although we have some pretty warm days here in Colorado. Still nothing I would try, too many cactus not to mention the rattle snakes. Not that clothes are going to stop a rattle snake from biting.

even that doesn't always help... my last female rt got kicked off of a bunch of jacks. in fact she never did catch one. she must have bound to 20 jacks and was kicked off everytime.
I have gotten my bird soaring and it is fun! Wow. I thought hawking was fun before this, but soaring is amazing! We are working on keeping her up for longer periods... and finding rabbits. She's flying at 950g this year and has a very good attitude. I can't wait til she catches a jack. Hoping for the best with the holding on.
