This is Zada's new hood. I messed up slightly on the color (there's a bit of blackish on part of the red) and I was unhappy with that, but decided to just ignore it because 1) I'm not selling this one and 2) it fits so well.

I havent stopped making hoods, I just havent been able to get pictures lately. However, I just had the honor of creating a hood for stormcloud96's monster and here it is.
Now waiting to hear how it fits!
edit: BTW the hood in the background is NOT my work, it is the only hood I have ever bought from someone else and was made by Lou Woyce.

It is a size 23 Tait block, the second to largest non-eagle Tait block offered. Made to fit a large female redtail or male ferruginous. The only one larger is for a female ferrug.

Great looking hood waterbug. What kind of leather do you prefer to use on your hoods? Kip or kangaroo? and do you shoot for around 3 ounce thickness?

I've been out sick for what feels like forever after having all four wisdom teeth removed. Finally going hawking again tomorrow! And I sent out this hood, for senegal927, female kestrel 4g.
Edit: Darn, the pics turned out really bad. The problem with kestrel hoods is they're too small to photograph in normal settings and too big for super macro...

Latest hood, for jfseaman (along with four others). Male barbary (size 11). The green is slightly brighter than it appears. I hope you like bright ones, Fred, 'cause I think it looks cool!
