Brian Kellogg lives in Tacoma Washington and I went up to visit him this year. I didn't really like Washington and they are not allowed to hunt jack rabbits. The cottontails live in the black berry bushes and Brian has to use a beagle to help him get the rabbits out. They don't stay out for long. Also its pretty wet up there. I was there for 3 days and it rained night and day the whole time.Tacoma is 30 miles from Seattle
Eastern Kansas, wow, that's some harsh winters isn't it? I just bought a place in Silver City New Mexico. Its at 5200 feet so the summers should be mild and the winters should get snow, but, melt off by noon the next day. I won't move there until July 2007 when my wife retires.
