Like the president of our club said to me after i did the same thing, "take the d--n test!" The worst that can happen is that you'd flunk but you'd know what was on it and you'd be ready to pass the next time. I was very surprised when i passed my test the first time. I suspect you will be too. "Take the d--n test!" ;D
My Gawd, man!!! You'd have to really suck to fail after all that. I had been to two meets, been hawking twice outside of the meets and studied hard for two months out of mostly the CHC study guide and passed with a 97%! Like Bob said, "Take the D**n Test!!" (imagine me booting you towards the DNR test room...) ;D

Actually, i know a few people who have test anxiety [myself, my sponsor, and my mom included] who freak out on tests, and minds just go blank. Makes taking tests very hard.

Ethics make the individual, not the other way around.
Jon the Cal Hawking Club apprentice study guide was the most helpful book of all the ones I read when it came to passing the test, so yes it is very helpful to those in the Northeast wanting to take the test. Everything execpt the CA state laws should be known. The questions on the Mass test were taken almost word for word from North American Falconry and Hunting Hawks, the Cal guide is a dumbed down NAFHH in question/answer form. After reading all those books and knowing them you should have no problems passing the test.
