Hi Raptrlvr, I'm going out with Helga, Gary, Bob, and whoever else shows up. I guess there are usually 4-6 Falconers. If possible I'd love to see your Harris and Golden Eagle fly sometime.
If anyone in the San Diego area is going hunting and wouldn't mind a tag along I'd love to join in. I have no problem being the lacky of the trip or buying lunch.
not one for just southern california but there is the CHC www.calhawkingclub.org it has e-mail addresses and contact info for some of the office holders, talk to bob armbruster about apprenticeship, and mary hoffman about membership
Hey guys i live in Rancho Cucamonga, California. im new to the site and looking foward into getting into Falconry. Im looking for lots of information and help on getting started if someone could help me out! Thanx
lol yeah that was a great day.. we were all waiting around the trucks patiently awaiting to see your golden eagle... lol it was funnt because we were all stalling time to see if you would come, we'd make up silly excuses to not go out until Jim (raptrlvr) came around with his Golden Eagle.
But that was a great day, if it wasnt for Jim (raptrlvr), i probably would have never ever been this interested in Falconry, its like it was ment to happen =D lol.
lol congrats Morgan, glad you got your bird.. what type is it? I heard the best raptors to start out with are the Red-Tailed Hawk, and the American Kestrel =P... how was the test? i think thats the part im most nervous about =S
