Did you mean meat and cider? LOL Cider acts like rangle to help bring the bird into condition fast if it fat! I've never used it and I have never used rangle either. Proper weight management is all it takes to keep your bird at the appropriate weight for hunting all the time. You can also use a piece of sugar candy too.
Nope ....Mead and cider......a Harp's or two were in there somewhere also. I wouldn't give the Eagle any of my drink!! ....that's alcohol abuse.....wastefull even! ;D

Cody Tedford, Sandwich, Massachusetts. I'm not really sure what kind of raptors we have around here. All I know is I can get a Red-Tail or American Kestrel when I become a falconer.
Cody you need to go back to your old posts to see what we answered. Here is the information you asked for. Re: Sponsor « Reply #3 on: 04/28/2004 at 19:24:35 »
cody please refer to the books thread. You may also find this information helpful. Here is your state game link www.state.ma.us/dfwele/dpt_toc.htm Look under permits lisences etc. Falconry Permits--MassWildlife licenses falconers (people who hunt with birds of prey). For information on the apprentice and permit process, write Falconry Information, MassWildlife Field HQ 1 Rabbit Hill Rd, Westboro MA 01581.

Hi all. My name is Craig and I live in the country, north of a little town called Woodward, about 30 miles northwest of Des Moines, Iowa.
I am rekindling a dream of being a falconer that I had in my youth. At this point, other than alot of reading and internet research I am about as green as they come. I have bought "THE" book as well as some others and have been corresponding with the IFA(Iowa Falconers Association)
I am anxious to meet other falconers, particularly to get ideas and reccommendatoins on the constructoin of a mews and weathering area so I can begin planning.
We have many red-tailed hawks as well as kestrels. In the winters, the bald eagles can be found gathered in the areas of open water on the rivers, but some stay around all year.
I am looking forward to my new pusuit and hope to talk to and meet some of you that share a common interest.

Hey, Welcome to the board! Ask any questions ya like as we all try to help each other out in any way we can. Most of the people on the list are apprentices so we know what you will need to go through....Still fresh in our minds thing...ya know. Falcon Boy is the list owner and Alex is the Moderator. They like to keep things on topic so when you have specific questions try to post them in a catagory that's similar or create a new thread. Cheers, ;D Noel
