I'm interested in falconry for the hunt, for the connection to the animals involved, and for the challenge of training. I'm willing to do menial tasks for one or several falconers in Utah Valley on Saturdays or on a few week day nights, just so I can be close to birds, their training, and the hunt.
I'm not looking for a sponsor right now. I'm no where close to being able to house, train, or hunt my own bird. All I want is exposure, and if you need a second person to help clean your mews, cast your birds, or otherwise be a extra hand with training, I'd love to hear from you.
I am looking to get into Falconry. I live in Lychburg Tn, ten minutes south of Shelbyville. Would like to meet up with some one to learn more about it. Please Email me at bponu@yahoo.com put falconry in the topic. I am dead set on it if anyone could help me out I would be dearly grateful.Thank you for your time

Canton Georgia chiming in! I have been wanting to get into falconry for many years but also had the presence of mind to realize I simply wasn't in the position to do it. Now I am! I have ordered some of the recommended reading and am anxiously awaiting the arrival. It looks like we have a reputable falconry club in the state so I hope to find a sponser relativley close by. I have a question though about this site. How do you sort the topics by date? Call me stupid but I haven't figured that out! I have topics that are from years ago listed right in with current topics. Anyway the site seems to be full of great info and I am enjoying it.

You flew to Denver but stayed in Dallas? Man that must have been a hell of a drive each morning to make the 8:00am status meeting. lol.
If your ever in Denver again let me know. I host other falconers all the time.
Some people grin and bear it, other people smile and change it.
