I am in colorado. about a hundred miles south of denver. the Brunottes are in denver, not too far from the airport and if you like urban hawking then you will have a blast. The brunottes are actually coming down to pueblo this saturday to come get some quail from me, real cool people. there is lots of game where ever you go and the northern part of the state has the most falconers but us southern people in colorado got the jacks in huge numbers. you will have to come down south sometime ill host a meet again this year on my permission areas. i have an area with 1200 acres and lots of jacks and cottontail. Noah actually wants to come to my place for some hawking that will be better than NAFA right after the meet. DID I SAY THE QUAIL HAWKING IS TONS OF FUN HERE?

I know that when I took it, it asked for titles and authors of a few different falconry books that I've read. You will find that there are a few wishy washy questions in there, that you will sit and think about, and they just don't make sense at all. They do ask a lot of field identification q's, as well as what raptors live here, and what times of the year they live here, etc Good Luck!

perfect, questions that make no sense, authors i don't know, perfect. LOL! I knew there would be questions that i have no idea how to answer. Crap. Well it's at 2:00 tomorrow so i'm going to go take it and see how it goes. I wasn't going to post anything about taking it (in case of failure) but most of what i read tells me to check my ego at the door. Consider it checked.

Do any of you that are members of the Colorado Hawking Club know the apprentice director personally? I didn't want to post his name on here just in case. I have e-mailed him a couple of times and not heard back. I don't want to keep bugging him if he's out of town or something.
