I live in Jacksonville and I am preparing to take the licensing test and my husband is working on building the mews and preparing our home for inspection. I am actively looking for a sponsor and to meet someone within 1-2 hours driving time from Jacksonville.

I, too, am from S. Florida (Coral Springs area) and am running into the problem of finding any licensed Falconers here or any near here.... Please feel free to post if you are located within a few hours driving distance. I am MORE than willing to make a drive! Thanks again for the info!
Hey guys I'm fairly new to the sport, Still studying and, trying to get a handle on things. I'm located in central Florida, not too far from tampa, if anyone from that area has some spare time, I'd love to chat, or possibly accompany on a trip!
I hear there may be some falconers in FL who have had success flying Red Shoulders. If you are one of those people please send me a PM, I'd love hear all about it!
Hello all, I am in the pensacola(panhandle) area, hanging out working towards my test and finding falconers in the area, so far not the greatest luck. Once I get moved in and unpack I can focus on studying for the test.

I am an APP in NW FL (bonifay). My SPNSR is in AL, and I am having trouble finding a RT. I caught 2 RSs already(male and female) took a couple pics and turned them loose. It is like the RTs in the area have vanished. Anybody have a hot tip on finding one.

Nevermind I got one. A male. My now retired gerbil Stuntman(oldest son named him) has 3 Red Shoulders, a Mature female RT, and now a passage male RT to his credit.

In Lee County FL. Anyone in this area? I am not a licensed falconer, but I am finally at a point where I might be able to get into it after many years of daydreaming about it. If you are in South Florida shoot me a message. I'd be happy to beat the brush or just meet for lunch and talk about birds.
