read up on the hunting rules and no hunting is allowed with the aid of a motor vehicle, while the passenger side is occupied, while the motor is running.......
so I guess that means car hawking would be illegal
Yeah, but what about hawking starlings, sparrows, or pigeons? They're not game species, so it can't be considered hunting, right? It's more like bird abatement.
I guess it all depends on how the Game Warden interprets the law. Your laws may be different but mine states:
Road Hunting:
Local laws prohibit or restrict hunting or shooting from public roads or possession of a loaded firearm on road right-of-ways in some counties.
It is unlawful to use any of the following in taking wild birds
-motor vehicles (at no time may any wild game or birds be taken with the aid of a motor vehicle while the passenger area is occupied or while the vehicle engine is running)
that's Stupid It should specify What is leagal to use to take Game... At least Mention Falcons and Firearms... A game warden could take you up on that if you hit it with the Car the AID so Isn't the Bumber a AID technically... That is SO stupid Just g down the Thruway sit in the BAck seat Turn off your car and Let the HH go lol It gotta be Legal, They have to make it so Unspecific... so the wardens if they don't like you can just lin you for whatever. In NY your bullet isn't aloud to Cross the Road Why should it be illeaal to hunt with from a Car on a Back road... Just dosn't make sense... O well Guess it's up to the Polititions who WE ellect. So it is in a way Our fault for what they do even if they are Straight Liars
