Ok, here is the most info i could find. This is compiled from your original list, NAFA's list and about 2 hours worth of googling
Some state clubs just DON"T have a webpage yet, so i found some snail mail information. States with no information, i couldn't find ANY information on the state clubs, and DFG might have some more info. Hawaii is the only state it is currently illegal in. Also NAFA has a great page for local DFG contact info. Here is the link: State DFG Offices on NAFA's webpage
Ooby, I beleive that the only state not allowing falconry is Hawaii. Conneticut was on the list but last year they gained the laws needed to permit falconry on a basic level.
Eagles may soar, but weasels don't get sucked into jet engines "Give a man a fish, and you'll feed him for a day; give him a religion................ and he'll starve to death while praying for a fish."
Ya i saw that there are some clubs there, but they don't have any websites up yet, and the only page i could find that labeled it illegal listed those states.
I havn't been on much cause my house is being remodeled, but once its done, ill start doing some more research, and seeing if i can get some of the master falconers i know to write up a few blurbs of wisdom to apprentices, and those aspiring to be.
I have a correction on the Montana Falconer's Association...
That address is for the old president of the clubs house. It has since changed. Once I get ahold of the address I'll post it but if you still want to mail this guy, go right ahead! He's a great guy who has answered quickly and precisely.
[glow=purple,2,300]Yager, in a way you are already in a chatroom. Plus we have several photo galleries, one that is listed in the general thread and 2 seperate ones, one for humans, and other for the birds. You can get in contact with most of us(well more like the selected few) through an instant messaging program. EDIT: I know this has been suggested, I believe by you FB, having a private chat invite only. Yahoo messenger is really niffty, I got sound and audio working the other night, and it will let you work that with more than one person in the conference. those without mikes can listen and comment with the instant messenging all the same. Well hope it all works out, not really my place to comment.[/glow]

I think the General Board description should be slightly changed, as you really can't talk about anything there, just falconry stuff. Now I did come across a board here where you can talk about anything, but can't remember what it was. Anyhow, it is pretty embarassing to get nailed for talking about anything on the General Board, so maybe a warning up front would be good like "falconry topics only". I come from another place where the General board is used for just that, General stuff off the main reason of the site.
I like to talk to others and not to say that Falconry is boring but like to know other stuff about the people I'm talkign with, and not feel like someone is going to be upset by it, ya know what I mean??
ANyhow, this board said give suggestions, so I have!
