Define what you mean to "keep"? Do you mean simply to house on your property, or to hunt on? To hunt on...well, that is a question that would be relative to the quarry you have/how often you hunt. You should have multiple areas to fly your bird or you will clear the game from the one field and become...SOL.....As for the amount of land neccisary to house one?....whatever size that the mews and a weathering area will set up in......
Eagles may soar, but weasels don't get sucked into jet engines "Give a man a fish, and you'll feed him for a day; give him a religion................ and he'll starve to death while praying for a fish."
i mean simply to keep, my family owns 200 acres not to far from where we live i could fly it there. i simply mean to house, is there any legal minimum?
You really don't "keep" a raptor, you train a raptor, you house a raptor, you become the raptor's partner and trusted companion. But besides that, you just need a field for hunting... and you need a minimum of an 8 ft x 8 ft x 8 ft cube, and a similar sized weathering area. You can find a lot of info on www.themodernapprentice.com (guys - sorry i harp on this site so much, its all i really know, and it is a great site... LOL i should be getting paid for all the product placement i do! )
