I just got off the phone with a rehab friend who recommended a Bird of Prey diet by Nebraska Brand( www.nebraskabrand.com/PREMIUMsheet.htm ), I'm just curious what if any falconers use this product, and what they might say of it, Its main ingredient is horsemeat so I am fairly skeptical of this BOP diet, Any experience or input is much appreciated

I've used it at work. Haven't had any problems with it but I still don't like it and wouldn't use it with my own birds. Certainly not as a primary food item.
I have used it in a few zoos (I think its crap) when they made me. A raptor can survive on it if its a perch potato but still? For a falconry bird? I guess its like taking a multiple vitamin, expensive pee, but you don't absorb enough to make it worth taking.
When I worked at the rehab center we used it a little bit. It's like hamburger meat and some Raptors wont touch the junk. Not worth the money IMO. Everytime I see that stuff I think about being mean and making hamburgers ;D-Zach
