So I went out to the mews to feed her and when she was sitting on my glove I noticed that there was blood dripping down my glove. Upon closer inspection I see it dripping from underneath her number 2 talon. Brought her inside and ran talon under cold water for 10 minutes and bleeding had stopped. She had a cut right up against the underside of her talon. I applied triple antibiotic cream to the wound and am going to keep her in the GH for the next fews days to try to keep her somewhat immobile and give it a good chance to heal before this weekend. I went out and inspected the mews and can't find anything that she could have cut herself on. No sharp edges or pointy things. The wood bars on her window may be the culprit. I'll be changing those out for electrical conduit bars soon just to make sure that wasn't it.

Today there is not a single speck of blood on the perch in her giant hood, WOOT. Can see hardened blood around the base of the talon but she seems to be using it fine and not favoring it at all. I feel sorry for an bunny that comes into contact with those meathooks
