I know they're scatted somewhere through the forum. I want to make a spot where they're easy to find.
Here's currently what mine looks like:
Green material is special Army tarp I found at a surplus store. Its the strongest material i've been able to find that a kestrel cannot rip up so far. You must melt, glue edges otherwise they fray and the bird can rip it up. Otherwise it works great.
Can you see the picture? Does what spin? The ring? The perch? The bird?
All of which can move to a certain degree.
Another thing I might add is that the leash needs to take most of the energy away from that perticular ring that I use. Its a temporary ring untill I buy another one. Otherwise it will open and the bird can get loose. Even if he still got loose he is tied from bottom perch as a secondary.
I like Falco's design the best but I cannot find the picture for the life of me.
yeah, most definitely....I'm really liking the kitty litter idea, I just need to do a little redesign and reconstruction--if I just put walls on the base of MY perch it'd serve perfectly to hold the litter...I'm just worried about the cat. He tries to get into the same room as the kessie as it is....imagine if he thought he had an extra litter box in there! -- what a train wreck
