With the season coming up, i thought it'd be a good idea for people to make a list of things to watch for when hawking. I was informed today by T78 [thanks!] of a disease which CT's and Jacks can carry that can be passed to humans. To read up on it, follow this link-

Rattlesnake populations are up this year. In three years living here I never saw one near our house, this year I've had to kill two just out the front door.
There are a couple of goldens hanging around last month. One juvi and an adult. What a great sight. Juvi soaring about 40 feet up, turned the corner and an adult flushed from the field about 15 feet from the road carrying what looked like a small dog.
