Well, I have flown Bob, 7x intermewed tiercel Harris in a cast with many other Harris's so far with no real problems until Saturday. I was flying him with a friends tiercel Harris named Jack. They where working great together and even perching next to each other as we worked the brush. Bob flew over to a tree right above me and I immediatly bumped up a bunny. Bob smoked it within 15 yards and I made in no problem. All of a sudden, here comes Jack. He nails the bunny on the rump and both Harris's are trying to pull in different directions. They turn towards each other and begin the Harris growling that they do so well. Jack then reached out and grabbed Bob on the breast and Bob promptly returned the favor by grabbing Jack on the breast. Well, I had ahold of the bunny by the neck and it was still alive as I could not get my hand in there to stretch it out. Well, both Harris's squared off now by completly screaming at each other so I reached over to try seperate them and both birds let go of the bunny which made a hasty retreat to a brush pile.......Well Bob saw the bunny run and was VERY PISSED OFF! I have never seen a Harris show true anger such as this. Jack was merely sitting on the ground and Bob was activly trying to attack him. Several times within the next few minutes, Bob made flying passes at Jack while he was on the falconers fist and he was screaming while he flew.
Later that day after they has settled down, we where flying again when Jack and Bob landed in the same tree. They where out of our view at that moment when I heard them crabbing again. I ran to the tree just in time to have them land at my feet locked up together.....sort of. Bob had some sort of bird in his feet and jack had a hold of bob's legs. They where screaming like crazy so I seperated them apart and let Bob eat a few bites before transfering him off the Misc. bird. I buried the carcass and called it a day as he was pretty wound up at this point.
