I have a 3 year old springer that I take gun hunting with me all the time and she does great. How hard do you think it will be to get her used to a Redtail?

My GF is taking care of a kestral that is a rehab bird from a zoo. Bad case of bumble, long story, but cant be released... ANYWAYS
When she first brough the bird home, she introduced it to her boston terrier. Well the boston wanted to sniff, the kestral started screaming, and footed him in the nose. The dog ran away screaming and the bird is the king of the house now. Now she will let him sniff around and even eat the throw away stuff she discards from her mice, that are on the bottom of her block perch WHILE she is still eating. Its amazing.
Also keep in mind, this bird panics at the sight of other dogs. Im not sure why one bird will accept one dog then not mind any otheres, and some birds have to accept them all one at a time.
