......yup......
Eagles may soar, but weasels don't get sucked into jet engines "Give a man a fish, and you'll feed him for a day; give him a religion................ and he'll starve to death while praying for a fish."

Well, Here he is.... I picked him up on Saturday and his name is Zero.

Good looking dog I hope he works out for you. I have a really good one he will flush rabbits and tree squirrels but my hawk tries to eat him my wife's bird is fine with him.
I have a JR that is 17 1/2 now and worked rabbits very well for me for at least 15 of those years. The Redtail I have was much easier on her than the harris hawks. In my opinion, a JR can't be beat when you come up on a 6 foot high briar patch. Mine even worked rabbit holes for the first few years and then for some reason decided in the third year to stay out of them.
Wow that's a long-lived JR! I don't like them personally, they yap and yap and they seem very protective. When people go near Dusk with them they go for her straight away, pretty fearless which I suppose is good for a hunting dog. Although I bet there can be nice ones, I wouldn't touch one with a barge pole. But there is a definte plus side: if you don't like the dog, it's about a month's supply of hawk food.
